Liquid swivels

The liquid swivel allows in vivo sampling/infusion without any risk of twisting tubing. Liquid lines to and from the animal are connected through a liquid swivel, which keeps these lines from twisting or pulling away from their connections. As the animal moves the swivels rotate freely. The swivel is mounted on a balance arm.

All swivels are coated with biologically inert TFE ( Teflon). This means that the liquid is never in contact with metal ( which can cause oxidation on endogenous compounds).
