Tubing

Tubing is used to connect microdialysis probes, syringes,swivels, liquid switches etc. The FEP PTFE tubing is inert and clear with a very small internal diameter, There is a strict correlation between the length of the FEP tubing and the internal volume. PEEK is an inert, opaque tube. It is used in the same applications as FEP, but with stiffer characteristics and more resistant to oxygen transfer. Both are delivered non-sterile.

Description

Tubing Adapters

These flanged tubing adapters are made for safe connection between tubing, switch or swivel. The adaptersare capable of adapting tubing and cannulas with an outer diameter of 0,60–0,80 mm. They are made of polyurethane and should be soaked a few minutes in 70% alcohol prior to use. They will then slide over steel or plastic tubing and shrink when the alcohol evaporates. This makes a tight and leakproof connection. Pkg of 10.

 

JT-10

PTFE tubing with 0.1 mm I.D. Solvent is not required to connect tubing. Each end reinforced with stainless steel tubing. Preattached Byton Connector makes it easy to connect to a microdialysis probe or another PTFE Tubing. Standard size of JT-10 is 50 cm with 4 µl internal volume. This volume does not include the space of the Byton connector. Chemically clean. No ghost peaks are confirmed with each Eicom analytical application.
